Synopsis:

This webinar will explore how digital content creators are shaping public perceptions of cybersecurity careers across online media sources such as podcasts, photos or video sharing platforms, professional networking platforms used for career development, microblogging or news platforms, and other social media channels. Featuring voices from the cybersecurity influencer community, the session will examine why they dedicate their digital spaces to raising career awareness, how they make cybersecurity engaging for audiences of all ages, and the impact they are seeing on career discovery and interest in cybersecurity-related occupations.

Panelists will share success stories, highlight challenges, and discuss what policy changes or partnerships could help amplify their efforts. Attendees will gain insights into how storytelling, relatable content, and digital outreach are becoming powerful tools for expanding the cybersecurity workforce pipeline. The session aligns to the NICE Strategic Plan goal to Promote the Discovery of Cybersecurity Careers and Multiple Pathways by recognizing and engaging career influencers as critical partners in promoting awareness of cybersecurity career pathways and learning opportunities.
