The Lab-Based Drug Checking Standards Meeting is a two-day event designed to bring together scientists involved in lab-based drug checking, specifically for public health applications. In this meeting we will discuss current practices for lab-based drug checking as well as identify outstanding documentary, reference, and physical standards needs. The goal of this workshop is to create a standards development roadmap that, when employed, will increase data interoperability across laboratories, providing more meaningful and actionable data to public health officials. This event is intended for people who are actively engaged, or will be actively engaged, in laboratory-based analysis of drug product or drug residue samples for public health purposes.
