FireWorks Conference Presented by the MEP National Network

The FireWorks Conference is presented by the MEP National Network and brings together education and workforce development (EWD) professionals to strengthen and empower U.S. manufacturing. The conference will feature sessions selected by EWD professionals for EWD professionals to support both the MEPNN and Manufacturing USA network. 

At FireWorks, EWD professionals will focus on advancing American manufacturing through collaborations, supporting workforce development programs, and upskilling existing workers to adapt to the rapid change of technology in manufacturing. 

FireWorks’ goals are to:

  • Share best practices in workforce development directly from the practitioners
  • Explore how the networks are helping fill open manufacturing jobs and retain workers
  • Build a sense of community among education and workforce practitioners across the MEP Centers and Manufacturing USA institutes

Who Should Attend

This conference is designed by and for practitioners in the MEP National Network and Manufacturing USA Institutes. Staff from the Department of Commerce and other federal agencies are also welcome.
