NIST’s Public Safety Communications Research Division is pleased to announce a new funding opportunity, the Public Safety Innovation Accelerator Program - Public Safety Radio Data competition (PSIAP-PSRD). PSCR is seeking applications to collect and publish active Public Safety (PS) radio system transmission data related to the comparison of Land Mobile Radio (LMR) to Long Term Evolution (LTE). NIST anticipates funding one award for up to $1,000,000. Project performance periods may be up to two years.
