On Sept. 22 from 1-4:30 p.m. EDT, the MEP Advisory Board will meet virtually to hear updates from NIST MEP senior management as well as a report out on national and state economic challenges and opportunities, data trends and to discuss future themes for NIST MEP’s Competitive Awards Program. The Board’s Supply Chain Development, MEP National Network Strategic Plan 2023-2028 and Executive Committee Working Groups will also present and get full Board feedback. The afternoon will finish with a very special send-off for MEP Director Carroll Thomas as she retires. The virtual retirement event begins at 3:30 p.m. EDT and will feature various speakers. Attendees can leave personal notes for Carroll through the Q&A feature on the virtual event platform. These notes, along with longer messages and photos submitted to Monica.Claussen [at] nist.gov (Monica[dot]Claussen[at]nist[dot]gov) by Sept. 30, will be collected in a memory book presented to Carroll after the event.
