CVMI @ CVPR 2017 is focused primarily on analyzing microscopy images of samples and phenomena related to human health.
The Workshop on Computer Vision for Microscopy Image Analysis (CVMI) will be held on July 21st, 2017 in conjunction with the CVPR 2017 conference. It is focused primarily on analyzing microscopy images of samples and phenomena related to human health.
The Workshop on Computer Vision for Microscopy Image Analysis (CVMI) is a continuation of the successful CVMI @ CVPR 2016 that attracted about 50 attendees from academia, industry, and government. The CVMI @ CVPR 2017 aims at learning and information exchange during keynote presentations, student presentations and a poster session while reaching the broader computer vision community at CVPR.
The BioImage Informatics Conference covers a wide range of topics that would be classified under the following themes:
- Image calibration
- Background correction
- Object detection
- Stitching and Registration
- Event detection
- Object tracking
- Shape analysis
- Texture analysis
- GPU-based acceleration of image processing
- Big image data to knowledge
- Image datasets and benchmarking
