Web Services Network Scanners

Web Services Scanners are a relatively new class of SA tool whose purpose is the analysis of web service applications. Web service scanners have functions of the following type: 

  • generate test cases from WSDL 
  • support WS-I Test Tools 
  • perform load testing 
  • test SOAP server 
  • test SOAP client 
  • test XML Encryption, Signatures, Signature Verification 
  • test WS-Security 
  • perform XML validation of received messages
