The National Construction Safety Team (NCST) Advisory Committee held a virtual meeting on Monday, Nov. 8, 2021. The meeting provided an opportunity for NIST leadership to update the committee on the progress of NCST investigations focused on the impacts of Hurricane Maria in Puerto Rico and the Champlain Towers South partial building collapse that occurred in Surfside, Florida, and to provide an overview of NIST’s building failure scoring and team readiness. During this meeting, the committee also discussed its annual report to Congress, which was submitted Dec. 15, 2021.
