Teresa Duncan is an NRC postdoc in the Materials Science and Engineering Division of the NIST Materials Measurement Laboratory. She received her Ph.D. in chemistry from Georgetown University studying the use of polymeric gels for cleaning artwork. She is currently editor-in-chief of heritagebites.org, a blog for disseminating research in heritage science. In her free time, she enjoys DIY home renovation projects, gardening, drawing, cooking, and traveling.
