Meltem Sonmez Turan is a mathematician in the Computer Security Division of the National Institute of Standards and Technology. Meltem's research interests include symmetric cryptography, random number generation and circuit complexity. In her free time, she dreams about being a lighthouse keeper and kayaking with the whales.
Dr. Shanée Dawkins is a Computer Scientist in the Visualization and Usability Group at NIST, where she performs research focusing on human centered design and evaluation guidelines and standards. She received her M.S. and Ph.D. in Computer Science at Auburn University, and her B.S. in Computer Engineering at North Carolina A&T State University.
Dustin Moody is a mathematician in the NIST Computer Security Division. Dustin leads the post-quantum cryptography project at NIST. He received his Ph.D. from the University of Washington in 2009. His area of research deals with elliptic curves and their applications in cryptography.
Jeffrey Orszak is Director, Strategic Growth & Technology at CONNSTEP. He assists Connecticut companies with innovation and product development. He has more than 20 years of product development and program management experience, leading diverse teams in telecommunication, semiconductor, and aerospace industries. Jeff has created partnerships leading to the introduction of new technologies into the market and applied Lean tools to improve operational and product development processes. He is a graduate of Worcester Polytechnic Institute and of Boston University. He is active in supporting STEM education.

He utilizes his background and skills to help clients evaluate, identify, and apply technology solutions to problems that challenge their business and will improve their manufacturing efforts. With over 20 years of experience in manufacturing and industrial automation, Erik has been involved in a broad spectrum of industries and markets including electronics, optics, aerospace, life sciences, food and beverage, and custom machine building. Erik has an educational background in Electrical Engineering from the University of Utah and Business Administration from Southern Connecticut State University.
