Who we are and what we do

NIST's Innovation and Industry Services builds communities around innovation, manufacturing and organizational excellence.

  • Manufacturing USA is an industry-led partnership to develop the advanced technologies and skilled workforce for U.S. manufacturing global leadership.
  • The Hollings Manufacturing Extension Partnership empowers American manufacturers to improve everything they do every day so they can compete on the global stage and strengthen the U.S. economy.
  • The Technology Partnerships Office helps businesses, universities and other partners access NIST scientific resources and technologies to grow and develop new innovations.

Associate Director for Innovation and Industry Services

Mojdeh Bahar Headshot

Mojdeh Bahar is NIST's Associate Director for Innovation and Industry Services. In this capacity, she is responsible for the NIST suite of technology partnership, quality, and advanced manufacturing programs.

Ms. Bahar comes to NIST from the Agricultural Research Service (ARS) within the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) where she served as the Assistant Administrator for Technology Transfer.
