The CHIPS for America award will provide USA Rare Earth direct funding and a loan agreement to support the development of a vertically integrated “mine-to-magnet” capability in facilities spanning Texas, Oklahoma, and South Carolina. USA Rare Earth will onshore heavy rare earth mining and processing to restore U.S. independence and resilience in these materials, bolstering U.S. national and economic security.
