This report describes the XML Validation website which hosts a number of XML parsing tools that can be used to remotely validate XML schema files against the W3C XML Schema standard, and XML data files against their corresponding XML schemas. The first part of this document describes how to use the website from an end user's perspective. The second part of the document describes the systems administrator's view of the website. The later view is provided for maintenance of the site or for those wishing to duplicate the project on their own site. At the time of publication the website provides access to 5 parsing tools and 5 standard XML schemas. However the system is designed for flexibility in adding other XML tools and schemas. Please contact us (xmlTestbed-at-cme.nist.gov) if you would like to see other parsers or schemas made available through the NIST online system.
