Abstract

We have observed a dramatic enhancement of Hc2 in the system, Nb1-x Six, as a function of disorder. To account for these empirical results, we incorporate expressions derived previously for T and N as a function of disorder into the GLAG equation for Hc2. The resulting expression for Hc2 is valid for the complete metallic range that extends from a clean metal to the metal/insulator transition (MIT). We demonstrate that the predictions of this model fit our results for NbSi as well as several other disordered superductive systems reported in the literature.
