Abstract

Thermodynamic properties of several arsenic-containing substances are reviewed here, and a consistent set of thermodynamic properties for these species, derived from the measured values, is presented. The species considered were 1) those expected to occur in dilute aqueous arsenic bearing solutions with and without the presence of dissolved sulfide and 2) common oxides and sulfides of arsenic. The methodology of the process used to generate the new thermodynamic properties is given, as are comparisons with the previously published measured properties.
