Abstract
Polarization mode dispersion (PMD), multimode fiber parameters, fiber geometry and chromatic dispersion mapping in fibers are some of the measurement issues in this digest of papers presented at the Symposium on Optical Fiber Measurements held September 26-28, 2000, at the laboratories of the National Institute of Standards and Technology in Boulder, CO. Summaries of the papers presented at the Symposium are included.
