Abstract
This report documents a survey of standards relevant to the U.S. Fiber/Textile/Apparel (FTA) industry. The standards are discussed in four major groups?integration standards, test methods, quality standards, and standard reference data and materials. The Appendix of the report lists the titles of all standards found grouped together by the organization responsible for them. Those organizations are also listed along with contact information for them The report attempts to bring together useful information concerning FTA standards as a starting point to support the industry in intelligently planning future standards'' development efforts.
