Abstract

This Extended Abstract summarizes the various supplementary equations that have been developed by the International Association for the Properties of Water and Steam to improve the calculation speed of the industrial standard formulation IAPWS-IF97 for thermodynamic properties of water and steam. References are given to the publications where complete descriptions of the supplementary equations may be found.
