Abstract
The report describes the results of a project performed by a study group from the Organization of Scientific Area Committees (OSAC) for Forensic Science Digital Evidence Subcommittee to identify the quality practices and management systems that are most effective within digital forensics labs. Contemporary quality management practices used in forensic labs were identified and interviews with lab management, senior staff, and digital evidence customers (e.g., law enforcement (LE), attorneys, judges) were conducted by the study group.
