Abstract

The 97th Annual Meeting of the National Conference on Weights and Measures (NCWM) was held July 15 through 19, 2012, at the Holiday Inn by the Bay, Portland, Maine. The theme of the meeting was "Taking Measure of Our Worth." Reports by the NCWM Board of Directors, Standing Committees, and Special Purpose Committees constitute the major portion of this publication, along with the addresses delivered by Conference officials and other authorities from government and industry. Special meetings included those of the Scale Manufacturers Association, Meter Manufacturers Association, Packinging and Labeling Subcommittee, Task Group on Printer Ink and Toner Cartridges, Fuels and Lubricants Subcommittee, and Associate Membership Committee.
