Abstract

This report describes the results of the 2004 AAAI Knowledge Representation and Ontologies for Autonomous Systems Spring Symposium, which was held at Stanford on March 22-23, 2004. The symposium was motivated by the desire to bring together colleagues in the autonomous systems, knowledge representation, ontology, and data fusion communities to explore leveraging existing knowledge technologies to benefit autonomous systems. The symposium was the first of its kind, and was attended by 36 participants, representing a cross section of the communities mentioned above.
