Abstract

This presentation to the Committee on Earth Observation Satellites Working Group on Calibration and Validation 17th Plenary Meeting covers radiometry and remote sensing; remote sensing programs in the Optical Technology Division; specral radiance from NIST standards; the Low Background Infrared (LBIR) Facility; the technical response by NIST; various radiometers and monitors; and a summary of recommendations.
