Abstract

The iterative Kramers-Kronig (IKK) dipersion integral lgorithm is commonly used to isolate the complex resonant scattering amplitude δf= f' + if from measured diffraction anomalous fine structure (DAFS) intensity data, where the imaginary part f is analyzed in the same manner as the absorption coefficient. We have performed computer-based and experimental studies on the reliability of structural parameters determined from f resolved using the IKK algorithm and present the results of a few of these experiments.
