Published

Author(s)

Abstract

[Superseded by SP 800-90A (January 2012): http://www.nist.gov/manuscript-publication-search.cfm?pub_id=910345] This Recommendation specifies mechanisms for the generation of random bits using deterministic methods. The methods provided are based on either cryptographic hash functions, block cipher algorithms or number theoretic problems.
