This session provides a brief overview of the current state of the standards that specify the 5G system, the mission critical services and some of the new security protections they provide. FirstNet will provide some insight into their standards priorities for the upcoming year and Jeff Cichonski, a researcher at NIST will provide some highlights around the new 5G security architecture.
