Abstract
Welcome to the R2 Network! The session will kick off with introductions to the R2 Network team including federal partners NIST-PSCR, FRNA and EDA. The R2 team will provide a brief overview of the R2 Network, how the initiative was created out of a need to face the nation's most pressing response and resilience challenges, and what the goals are for the future of R2. Panelists discuss how this unique public-private partnership was formed, how the investment was targeted to serve the needs of public safety, and what each partner is looking forward to most as the R2 Network begins to provide tools and resources for first responders, entrepreneurs and investors.
