Abstract

During this session, Adam Caplan, an immersive technology evangelist, and Division Chief Scot Barthelmass of the Eureka Fire Protection District share about their experience meeting and collaborating with each other as part of NIST PSCR's CHARIoT Challenge. They discuss their approach to collaboration; how they garnered public safety feedback and incorporated into their prototyping process; and provide suggestions for other innovators and public safety on how to and why they should collaborate together to advance communication technology for public safety.
