Abstract
complishments and current standards development activities of the American Society for Testing and Materials (ASTM) Subcommittee E06.23, Lead Hazards Associated with Buildings, are summarized. Since the inception, the subcommittee has developed 24 standards; prepared the second edittion of an ASTM compilation of E06.23 and related standards; and is awaiting the publication of a manual on lead-hazard identification and management programs that provides background on E 2052 and describes in detail procedures for its implementation.
