The Boulder Laboratories Diversity Council has announced a networking opportunity - the 2006 Boulder Laboratories Postdoctoral Poster Symposium, for postdoctoral associates and student affiliates. The planned event is to begin with an informal gathering where postdoctoral associates and students are encouraged to meet others and extend their own networks, and is to be followed by a poster session at which all can get a better appreciation for the breadth, novelty and excitement of research in the Boulder Labs. Awards will be given for Best Presentations in the Symposium. All staff and their guests are invited to attend and enjoy refreshments and the poster presentations. The event is to be held on Wednesday, June 14, 2006, from 1 to 4 p.m. in the David Skaggs Research Center Multipurpose Room, GC402. All postdoctoral associates from NOAA, NIST, NTIA and their joint institutes were invited to contribute a poster presentation. The poster session was opened to NRC, Guest Researcher, JILA, CIRES, etc. affiliates who were within seven years of their doctorate. The contributed poster abstracts were collected in a printed program booklet.
