Abstract
The Information Services Division (ISD) of the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) sought to determine the information needs of the millennial scientists who will be entering its workforce in the next five years. Conducted as a two-year study, this paper covers the findings of year one. It suggests various ways that librarians can learn about their users information seeking behaviors, especially those of its future users.
