Abstract

Three iterations of PERMIS Workshop Papers (2000, 2001 and 2002) contain theoutlines of the theory of performance measures.: PERMIS'2003 will begin to examineapplications of performance measures to practical problems in commercial, industrial,and military applications. In particular, we will begin to address the issue of technologyreadiness for practical applications. We believe that it is possible to leverage existingpractices and measures from more mature methodologies in other disciplines. In this white paper, we discuss some possible directions.
