Abstract

The Office of International and Academic Affairs (OIAA) is responsible for the coordination of all international and academic activities at the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST). This report details international and academic activities in support of NIST's mission. The first two sections on International Affairs and Academic Affairs deal with activities effecting NIST-wide programs. The international activities of each major operating unit (the seven laboratories, Technology Services, the Manufacturing Extension Partnership Program, Advanced Technology Program, National Quality Program, and the Program Office) are described in separate chapters for those units. An appendix at the end of the report lists all international agreements NIST has with foreign institutions by region.
