Abstract

This data collection contains 5,228 infrared spectra in the JCAMP-DX (Joint Committe for Atomic and Molecular Physical Data Data Exchange) format. They are provided in two separate files on six (6) high density 3 diskettes for MS-DOS personal computers. The first file contains 3,108 spectra from the EPA Vapor-Phase IR Library and the second contains 2,120 spectra obtained at NIST. Spectra are given as normalized absorbancesand empirical formulas and CAS Registry Numbers are given for all compounds. About 80% of thesecompounds (and nearly all in the NIST collection) have mass spectra included in the NIST/EPA/NIH Mass Spectral Database (May 1992 release).
