Abstract
This report summarizes the presentations, discussions and recommendations of a workshop held at the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) on April 24-25, 2007. The purpose of the workshop was to identify policies of digital preservation and promising technologies to solve preservation problems in product design, engineering, and manufacturing in particular; with possible extensions to include chemistry, biology, and other scientific disciplines. An appendix provides the guidelines used for breakout sessions.Citation
