Abstract

This is a column for the "Women in Microwaves" affinity group of the IEEE Microwave Theory and Techniques Society, to be published in IEEE Microwave Magazine. The column discusses the well documented effect that after ten years or so into a science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) career, women often leave their jobs and/or the field in numbers that are disproportionate to those of men.
