Abstract

Although business context has been introduced as an important concept for message standards usage and maintenance, its usability depends on the tech-nique used to represent contextual knowledge. This paper proposes a logic-based business context modeling technique, which is an alternative technique that can overcome some of the identified issues. The paper comments on the issues, and for those that currently cannot be addressed, proposes future re-search directions.
