Abstract

We employed a 2 channel single-photon detection system with high detection efficiency and low jitter to characterize the joint spectral distribution (JSD) of the correlated photons emerging from a Hong-Ou-Mandel interference arrangement. We show the JSDs between the two output ports of the 50/50 beamsplitter while scanning the relative delay between the two photons impinging on the 50/50 beamsplitter.
