Abstract

In this brief communication, a new approach to generalize the lattice Boltzmann method to produce fluid flow consistent with the Brinkman equation is presented. The method described in this communication both eliminates second order errors in velocity and improves stability over that of a previously proposed lattice Boltzman-based model.
