Abstract

The IEEE TC-10 comprises three working groups that have or are generating standards related to the measurement of signals. One of these groups has recently completed the IEEE Std. 1241, "Standard for Terminology and Test Methods for Analog-to-Digital Converters," which was released in December 2000. Another of these groups has been in the process of revising the IEEE Std. 1057-1989, "Trial Use Standard for Digitizing Waveform Recorders." The third group has recently completed the proposed standard 181, which will replace the two withdrawn IEEE standards, Std. 181-1977, "Standard on Pulse Measurement and Analysis by Objective Techniques," and Std. 194-194, "Standard on Pulse Terms and Definitions."
