This paper introduces the Women in Radio Science, the newest Chapter of the US National Committee of the International Union of Radio Science. The unique challenges of minority groups in radio science community are discussed. Value and impact of diversifying scientific workplace are argued and the promise of a women-lead radio science community is presented.
