Abstract

The field of micromachining is expanding to meet the demand for increased functionality for smaller components. This paper represents experiences learned in micro-milling and micro-drilling. The objective is to apply our knowledge of conventional and high speed milling and drilling, in order to gain experience in and to understand the limitations, capabilities and processes of endmill tools and drills at a very small scale.
