Abstract
The relation between the fundamental parameters of energy, temporal duration and dispersion are demonstrated both theoretically and experimentally in a solid-state modelocked laser. An asymptotic theory for the nonlinear and dispersion managed solitons agrees well with the experimental data.Citation
