Abstract

This power point presentation was presented at the 4th Annual ECCMA Membership Conference at Lehigh University on October 22nd, 2003 during a panel presentation on competitive sourcing, parts interoperability, and inventory visibility in public sector procurement. This presentation looked to provide a brief perspective from over 50 years of parts cataloguing and how adoption of electronic on-line dictionaries helped the electronics industry to better meet their goals of improving supply chain efficiencies.
