Abstract
In a publication we derived and presented two closed-form expressions for the current distribution on the ground plane of a microstrip line. One expression was based on the assumption of a constant current distribution on the trace conductor. The second was based on a more accurate expression given by Kobayashi for the trace current distribution. In this paper we present a correction to the express based on the Kobayashi current distribution.
