Abstract

Compressed-liquid densities of 3-ethoxy-1,1,1,2,3,4,4,5,5,6,6,6-dodecafluoro-2-trifluoromethyl-hexane (C9F15H5O) have been measured with a vibrating U-tube densimeter. To closely examine the repeatability of the measurements as well as the thermal stability of the test fluid, three series of measurements were made from 270 K to 470 K, and 0.5 MPa to 50 MPa. The overall combined uncertainty of the density data is 0.81 kg•m-3. Results of the measurements presented here are compared with previously measured densities found in the literature and show good agreement.
