The NIST Instrumented Charpy Test Suite is a set of standalone programs intended to allow anyone with appropriate hardware to perform and analyze instrumented Charpy impact tests. The software is provided in both raw code and executable formats with an installer for PC platforms. Data can be analyzed with this software in accordance with the ISO (International Standards Organization) 14556 standard, the ASTM (American Society for Testing Materials) E 2298 standard, or manually without strictly conforming to either standard. The package also includes a user's manual that details the procedure for installation and operation of each program in the test suite.
