Identity Management Systems Research & Development

Summary

Identity management is a relatively new discipline with many unanswered questions. Much research is needed to advance the state of the art to the point where identity management systems can be implemented in a secure, cost effective and interoperable manner. The Identity Management Systems Research and Development project area leverages NIST expertise gained through activities such as the Personal Identity Verification program.

Description
