Therese A. Butler (Assoc)

Terrie began her career at NBS in the area of atomic spectroscopy and primarily in trace-level elemental measurements using atomic absorption and emission spectroscopy. Subsequently in 1986, her emphasis moved into the development of elemental solution standards (the Spectrometric Solution Program), an area in which she has worked for the last 30 years. She has been involved in the certification of approximately 1000 SRMs over her career at NBS/NIST and is the author or co-author of over 25 peer-reviewed publications in these areas.
