Robert Newby is a Process Engineer in the NanoFab Operations Group. He received a B.S. in Electrical Engineering and a M.E. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Maryland. His previous work has also included work with soft polymers and cell based sensing for nose-on-a-chip prototyping. Prior to joining CNST, Robert worked in the automotive industry specializing in network communication which included electronics diagnostics and fiber-optic communication. Robert joined the CNST in 2012, where he is responsible for developing and maintaining processes in the soft lithography lab, low pressure chemical vapor deposition (LPCVD), and atmospheric diffusion in the NanoFab.
