Richmond Wang is a physicist in the Sensor Science Division's Temperature and Humidity Group. He primarily works in the SPRT Calibration Laboratory, where the ITS-90 from 83.8058 K to 1234.93 K is realized and disseminated across the country. His current focus is on the development of a novel argon triple point realization apparatus and on high temperature freeze points. He received his Ph. D. in Materials Science and Engineering in 2024 from University of Maryland, College Park, where his research focused on the pulsed laser deposition of metal oxide thin films as non-volatile memories and solid-state electrolytes.
